Description:
Located at Savar, this monument is the symbol of independence of our beloved country, Bangladesh. The monument reminds of the sacrifice of millions. Their sacrifice gave Bangladesh an existence in the world map. As a nation we are known as peace loving and hospitable. The green flag of our country says how close we are to the nature. Purity of soul is all we care for no matter what your color or religion is.
We are the proud nation to have the 2006 Nobel Prize winner for Peace. Dr. Mohammad Yunus is from our Bangladesh.
My small tribute to our guiding light.
